Meet Ellie

I’ve always had a passion for food. When I was younger, I loved making food for my family and experimenting. I went on to study culinary arts at Johnson & Wales University, in hopes to become a chef. That dream played out in my 20’s but I also discovered how food can have such an effect on someone’s life. I continued on to the culinary nutrition program, and later completed my internship and became a dietitian. Throughout my career I have worked in and out of kitchens. I have great knowledge on ingredients, food preparation, and different cuisines.
Working in schools I have connected with countless parents concerned about their food allergic child’s safety. Putting their minds at ease is fulfilling and I continuously strive for it. I have also taught cooking classes to build people’s confidence in kitchens. The ability to guide clients/patients through the benefits of nutrition therapy while also teaching them how to prepare delicious, well-balanced meals is truly invaluable.
